If you’re a fan of shopping local, finding the latest and greatest in handmade crafts and goods, and supporting small business owners, you’re in luck. The holiday season is starting with a bang this year, with a craft fair, bazaar, or boutique shopping event within a stone’s throw of just about anywhere in the Inland Northwest! Locally, there’s Coeur d’Alene High School‘s annual Holiday Gift and Food Fair, a Merry Little Christmas vintage and craft event at Greyhound Park in Post Falls, Lakeland Junior High’s annual JBE Holiday Bazaar, and a Choose Local Holiday Fest vendor fair at Silver Lake Mall in Coeur d’Alene, and the Avondale Arts & Gift Fair in Hayden, just to name a few.

If craft fairs aren’t your style, fear not, there are a ton of other events this weekend, including:

Inlander Winter Party

Friday @ Spokane Convention Center – At their NEW location in the Spokane Convention Center Exhibit Halls on the corner of Division and Spokane Falls Blvd. They’ve got a fun weekend planned for winter enthusiasts of all ages! Walk around the show with your beer and cider while you check out killer deals from winter retailers and mountain resorts, and listen to live music from local favorites like Balonely, Blake Braley and a special performance by The Rub/Royale All-Stars.

Pints for a Purpose

Friday & Saturday @ Post Falls Brewing Company – Join us Friday, November 15th and Saturday, November 16th for our PFBC Pint Drive to support The Post Falls Food Bank! During the 2 day event, $1 of every pint will be donated to The Post Falls Food Bank. Help us support local families in need! Don’t forget to grab a made from scratch pie from Bean & Pie during Pies & Pints on Friday!

Wild Turkey Dodgeball Tournament

Friday @ Mullan Trail Elementary in Post Falls – This is the perfect opportunity to knock the “stuffing” out of your opponents! Teams will play 6-on-6 with no maximum number of players on your roster. All teams must start each game with a minimum of 2 female players. Costumes are encouraged, and prizes will be awarded to the best dressed team. 2 officials are provided for each game and follow the official National Amateur Dodgeball Association rules. Limited number of teams accepted, please register early! Games will start at 6:00pm and run through elimination.

Holiday Light Show & North Pole Cruises

Saturday @ The Coeur d’Alene Resort – Over a million lights. A priceless memory. A family tradition. ✨ Experience the magic of the holidays on shimmering Lake Coeur d’Alene! Running November 16th through January 1st for our annual Holiday Light Show. You can also take an unforgettable holiday lake cruise across the sparkling waters to view more than 1.5 million twinkling holiday lights and visit Santa Claus and his elves at his waterfront toy workshop, where he magically speaks to each child by name!

$10 Bag Sale for Charity

Saturday @ The Boys & Girls Club, Coeur d’Alene – This event, hosted by Beau Monde Exchange, has raised over $95,000 for local charities over the past 12 years. We fill the gymnasium with items that people have marked to donate if we were not able to take them at the Exchange. With help from volunteers we fill the gymnasium in somewhat organized piles and provide 13 gallon kitchen size garbage bags for you to stuff for only $10 a piece. Some of the charities that have been included over the years are, CASA, Children’s Village, Union Gospel Mission, St. Vincent’s, Womens Center, North Idaho Youth Ranch, Newby-Ginnings, Humane Society, Relatives as Parents, Local Foster Care Support Groups, Lake City Food Bank, Father’s Market, We’ve Got Stuff, Strong Families through Youth Sports, Camp Journey, Camp Kaniksu, Goodwill, Arc, and others!
