Water Lantern Festival

Hunting for Horsepower

SATURDAY – Kootenai County Fairgrounds

The largest horsepower based event in the Northwest returns! 2 dynos running all day, Dirt Drag Racing during the day and ending with a full Sled Pull hosted by Dynomite Diesel.

 

Blue Moose Food Tours

THURSDAY through SATURDAY – Downtown Coeur d’Alene

Three fun hours of food, drink, history, camaraderie, and an insider’s view of Coeur d’Alene!  6-7 tastings at Coeur d’Alene Restaurants and Unique Eateries, 3 Drink Pairings, and fun stories about Coeur d’Alene’s history, culture and architecture.

 

COEURfest

SATURDAY – McEuen Park, Downtown Coeur d’Alene

COEURfest is a new September festival celebrating our amazing North Idaho Community. Organized by the Coeur d’Alene Chamber of Commerce, it will be an all-day event held at McEuen Park the Saturday after Labor Day.  The designers of this event want the participants to observe, learn & do in seven different “experience” areas that highlight the North Idaho lifestyle and what makes our region so special.  The seven experience areas are:  An All-American Experience: Washington Air National Guard will do a fly over, preceded by a flag ceremony. Various displays and exhibits will feature the life and duties of air guardsmen and women.  Epicurean Experience will showcase Coeur d’Alene’s great food offerings with food demonstrations, wine, craft beer and cider, and local restaurants.  Coeur d’Alene Natural Resources Experience You’ll find lake and water sciences, farm life, timber industries and tribal exhibits. CDA is rich in Natural Resources and you’ll find it in this experience.  Let’s Get Physical Experience is everything outdoors we love about Coeur d’Alene, including lake activities, hiking, biking, rafting, rock climbing, and outdoor yoga. North Idaho has it all!  All the World’s a Stage Experience will showcase the arts, with artists, musicians, writers and filmmakers. Children will participate in several hands on art experiences.  Commerce Experience will showcase local business gathering to show off the many goods and services produced and sold locally.  Science & Technology Experience will feature robots, drones (and drone races), as well as hands-on science experiences.

Unicorn Rides

SUNDAY – Big Red’s Barn, Coeur d’Alene

Two of our magical unicorns will be heading back over to Big Red’s Barn to spread their fairy dust all around.  Season pass holders can ride these beautiful unicorns for just $5, all others are just $8 with their paid admission. Family photography packages being offered later in the day.

 

Boys & Girls Club “A Night in Black”

FRIDAY – The Coeur d’Alene Resort, Downtown Coeur d’Alene

Don’t miss the event of the season and your chance to impact our local youth! Join us to for our biggest fundraiser of the year and enjoy silent and live auctions, hor d’oeurves, drinks, dinner and dancing. 100% of the money raised goes directly to our local Clubs and helps ensure we can continue to enhance and expand our programs for our local youth.
