St. Patrick’s Day comes early to Coeur d’Alene, as the city gears up to celebrate all weekend long. Combine that with Pi Day on March 14th, and you’ve got yourself a weekend of great food and drink options!

St. Patrick’s Day Things to Do Around Coeur d’Alene

ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

SATURDAY @ downtown Coeur d’Alene – Enjoy the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade presented by Idaho Central Credit Union and then head out for dinner and drinks at one of Downtown Coeur d’Alene’s local restaurants or watering holes. Don’t forget to stop by All Things Irish! They’ll be celebrating with fun activities and live music as well, of course! This family-friendly event is free to the public! The parade starts at 4:00 PM on 8th and Sherman and will end at 1st Street.

COEUR D’IRISH PARTY

SATURDAY @ The Coeur d’Alene Resort – The entire community is invited to attend Coeur d’Alene’s largest St. Patrick’s Day celebration. The 5th annual event will be held at the Coeur d’Alene Resort on March 14th. Showcasing the energetic sounds of Irish musical performances and Irish delights of corned beef and cabbage, Irish stew and soda bread. There will be bagpipes, Irish dancers, Irish food, Irish whiskey and of course GREEN Beer.

**The above events are family friendly. All your favorite watering holes in Post Falls, Hayden, and Coeur d’Alene have fun planned for adults, like the pub crawl, below:

PUB CRAWL.

SATURDAY @ Starts at Crown & Thistle, Coeur d’Alene – Following the parade downtown, the Coeur d’Alene Firefighters Pipes and Drums band will kick off their annual pub crawl at Crown & Thistle. Then they return to finish the pub crawl around 10 pm. And while there won’t be a green beer in sight, both nitro taps will be pouring Guinness.

PI DAY

SATURDAY @ Bean & Pie (Coeur d’Alene) and Birdie’s Pie Shop (Post Falls) – Both long awaited, much anticipated new pie shops are offering discounted pies on Saturday in celebration of Pi Day. Bean & Pie is launching a new flavor as well as hosting a Pi reciting contest for all ages. Birdie’s will have sweet pies and pizza pies, as well as fun events for the kids. MUSIC WALK

FRIDAY @ Sherman Ave, downtown Coeur d’Alene – This is the final Music Walk of 2020 before we jump into the spring/summer Artwalk season. The art galleries and shops all have something going on, with a ton of live music to enjoy.

SPOKANE CHIEFS vs TRI CITY AMERICANS

SATURDAY @ Spokane Arena – Includes the Miller Lite St. Patty’s Day jersey night and the regular season home finale.

SUNDAY MATINEE

SUNDAY @ Post Falls Public Library – Join us for a matinee showing of the classic A Star Is Born (1937). Starring Janet Gaynor and Frederic March, this Oscar-winning film launched three popular remakes. Cocoa and popcorn will be provided. Rated PG. All ages welcome.
