Things to Do around Coeur d’Alene
We’re still in the swing of all holiday things here in the Inland Northwest, but now we have snow so it feels more real! As you look for things to do this weekend, don’t forget the many great events that happen every weekend from now through the end of the month, such as the Eagle Watching Cruises, Pub Quiz nights, Coloring & Coffee, and more. Arts & Crafts
Show Opening: Randy Palmer, Tyler White, Todd Mire
Friday @ Emerge, Coeur d’Alene – A gallery showcase featuring watercolor illustrations, surreal landscapes and drawings. The reception will feature beverages and live music as well.
Friday @ Sherman Ave., downtown Coeur d’Alene – On the second Friday of each month, from 5-8 pm April to December, stroll through downtown Coeur d’Alene and enjoy local and nationally acclaimed artists displaying their work at supporting galleries, shops, restaurants and businesses.
Winter Market
Saturday @ Kootenai County Fairgrounds, Coeur d’Alene – FREE ADMISSION & PARKING! Don’t miss this amazing winter version of our market! Over 60 vendors selling produce, honey, breads, jams and jellies, meat, eggs, milk and cheese! Plus loads of gift items from our artisans and crafters, and even plants and Christmas decorations! We pack the Jacklin Building, and offer free parking and admission, plus free homemade cookies and beverages. Live music, too!
Music/Dance
Friday @ The JACC, Post Falls – This evening’s entertainment features live music by The Zonky Swing Band of Spokane. No partner or experience necessary! Includes dance lessons from Strictly Swing from 7:30 to 8:30 pm, and social dancing from 8:30-10:30 pm, along with a cookie contest, refreshments and more.

Saturday @ Keller Williams Realty Coeur d’Alene – GingerSnap Media and North Idaho REI Team team up to host a holiday photo shoot session with a hot cocoa bar and cookie decorating. RSVP to claim a spot.
Saturday & Sunday @ Mirabeau Park Hotel, Spokane Valley – Spokane Valley hosts the 12th annual holiday event, with proceeds supporting the Salvation Army. Includes a brunch buffet, pictures with Santa, and free breakfast for ages 12 and under. Dec. 14-15 from 8 am-1 pm. Reservations requested.
Saturday @ Coeur d’Alene Public Library – The eighth annual “Holiday Sing Along With Mudgy & Santa.” This year, a new book, “Mudgy & Millie Adventures: Costa Rica” is read by the author as favorite characters take to the air in their hot-air balloon to visit their animal friends in foreign countries.
