COEUR d’ALENE SYMPHONY SEASON OPENER

FRIDAY @ The Kroc Center, Coeur d’Alene – The Coeur d’Alene Symphony, conducted by Maestro Jan Pellant, will perform its season opener on Friday, October 4 & on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at the Salvation Army Kroc Center.  Concerts on Fridays are at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturdays at 2 p.m.  The opening concert, A Glorious Beginning, will feature Smetana’s The Moldau, and Dvorak’s Symphony No. 6.  A short informative pre-concert lecture will be presented by Maestro Pellant 45 minutes prior to the performance each day.

POST FALLS RUNNING SHOES & MICROBREWS

SATURDAY @ Kiwanis Park, Post Falls – Enjoy the fall crisp air, local beers, beautiful scenery, music and a good time at the 5k fun run & beer festival. Walkers and runners alike will enjoy this non-competitive, self-timed event. Prizes will be awarded for best costume. Over 21 participants will receive two drink tickets for the on-site beer garden; all finishers receive a T-shirt, medal and lots of fun!

BIKETOBERFEST

SATURDAY @ The Falls Club, Post Falls – Guardians of the Children is hosting the Annual Biketoberfest Ride and Auction. Come join us on October 5th 2019, sign-ups start at 830am with Kick Stands up at 10am. Cost: $10 per person covers Ride and Food. Stay after the ride for our Braut Feast with all the fixins and our Auction starting at 2pm. Can’t make the ride? Come on down at 2pm for the Auction and Braut Feast for only $5.
